Gurmat Gian Group Celebrates Achievements of 22 Sikligar Sikh Youth in Jaipur

Jaipur, August 27, 2023 – In a momentous ceremony held today at Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Jhalana Doongri, Gurmat Gian Group proudly honored 22 exceptional Sikligar Sikh youth for their outstanding achievements across various domains. The event served as a platform to celebrate these young trailblazers for their academic prowess, sports accomplishments, and remarkable contributions to diverse fields.   The honored youth demonstrated a spectrum of accomplishments, including academic excellence with scores exceeding 60% in their 10th and 12th-grade examinations. Among the recipients, a notable cohort has broken barriers by achieving milestones in various professions. The event recognized Jaipur's first Sikligar Journalist, an accomplished Hockey Player who has showcased exceptional talent on the field, individuals who have dedicated themselves to public service as Rajasthan Police officers, and the city's inaugural Sikligar Sikh Advocate.  

What Made Sikligar Sikh Youth Jaipur Special?

In a remarkable display of commitment to education, several Sikligar Sikh girls were celebrated for earning double Master's degrees in diverse disciplines. The ceremony also paid tribute to those who clinched gold medals in the national Sikh Martial Art Gatka competition held in Assam. Additionally, federal and state-level hockey players were acknowledged for their significant contributions to sports on a larger stage.   Central to the success of these youth are the dedicated mentors who have played pivotal roles in shaping their journeys. Jasbeer Singh, a veteran mentor with two decades of dedication to the cause, has been imparting Gurmat teachings and mentorship to Sikligar Sikh children in GTB Nagar, Jhalana Doongri, Jaipur. Harjinder Singh, a steadfast supporter for over 15 years, has nurtured and guided hockey players, enabling them to realize their dreams.
